Promotion Day

It’s the end of the school year, and Children’s Ministry is making big plans for the summer!  We believe these changes will be helpful as we grow. Here are all the details so you will be ready for Promotion Day on June 16th!

• The main check-in area will be downstairs. A self check-in area will still be available upstairs.
• Nine month olds through preK5 children will meet downstairs in the preschool rooms in the hallway behind the indoor playground.
• K – 3rd graders will meet in the same place, upstairs, in the classrooms around the large group room.
• 4th and 5th graders will meet in the game room for both the 9 and 11 am services.
• On June 16th, elementary kids starting kindergarten through 5th grade will attend the group they will be in when they start school in the fall. During Children’s Ministry at both the 9 and 11 am services, the rising 6th graders will check in as normal and have an opportunity to meet their Route 56 leaders during small group time.
• On June 23rd, rising 6th graders will no longer attend Children’s Ministry on Sunday mornings but are invited to join Route 56 on Sunday nights from 5:45-7:45 to help them transition to Student Ministry. For more on Route 56, go to nhc.click/route56.

If your child is five and will not be in kindergarten in the fall, please email familyministry@newhope.org. This will help us ensure everyone in the check-in system is in the correct group before the June 16th promotion date.
