Laser Tag and Chips

Route 56: I need to talk about God.

Our 6th graders dive into how talking about God helps us know Him better this week. We’ll open our night by eating chips and playing laser tag in the auditorium. When we break off to do our Route 56 lesson, we’ll play an old game, but one that always produces lots of laughs, Telephone. Then we’ll break into small groups to review our Know God devotions from last week about prayer. We’ll watch the video lesson on how to talk about God with others, then play a crazy game of Hula Hoop Rock Paper Scissors. Their task during the week is to read and complete the devotions in week 3 of their Know God books called Talk.

Come for guys vs. girls laser tag game and to munch on some chips during week 4 of our series Faith Skills. After laser tag, Marcus, one of our small group leaders, will teach the message: Talking about God helps us know Him better. We’ll have fun after the message playing some games in our small groups.
