Route 56
August 7 - September 11 2022
Starting August 7th, we have a special program designed specifically for our rising 6th graders, called Route 56, which is intentional about helping students make friends and discover ways to deepen their faith. Route 56 is a 5-week devotional; it will run every week from August 7th to September 11th, except Labor Day (September 4) weekend, when we will not meet.
Every Sunday night, we’ll play games, eat snacks, have a lesson designed to help students know God on a deeper level, and have small group discussions about what they experienced through their weekly devotional. Doors open on Sunday nights at 5:45 pm. At 6 pm, we start our programming. Student pick-up is at 7:45 pm.
Your rising 6th grader will be with 6th – 12th grade students at the beginning of the evening when we play large group games like 9 Square In The Air and GaGa Ball. Then they will break off into their own Route 56 program and be with other rising 6th graders for the remainder of the evening. Starting September 18th, when our Route 56 program is completed, rising 6th graders will attend the large group with our other students before breaking into gender and grade-specific groups.
There is a $5 fee for the devotional book. If your student will be attending, please register for Route 56 by July 31st. Click below to register now.
