S’mores and 9 Square

Route 56: I need to pray to God.

In our third week, our 6th graders are learning how talking to God helps us know Him better. We’ll start the night with S’mores and playing 9 Square; then, we’ll break into small groups to discuss last week’s devo about hearing God. We’ll watch a video lesson about how talking to God helps us know Him better, then write some prayers for the week in our journals. We’ll finish up the night by playing a human game of Candy Land! Their task is to read and complete week 2 in their devotional on prayer called, Pray.

Talking to God helps us know Him better, and during week three, our 7th graders through graduated seniors will continue to discover how we can implement that into our daily lives. We will do S’mores and play 9 Square to open up our night! Come for a fun and exciting night!
