Tear down the idol of approval by training yourself to see what matters most to God. Because what matters most to God is often very different from what matters most to people. In the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel, we see God call a young shepherd boy named David to become the king of Israel. David wasn’t the strongest, the biggest, the smartest, the richest, or well-educated dude in his family, let alone his country. But God chose him. Why?
