Women’s Summer Book Club

Summer is almost here, and that means it’s time for Book Club! Wherever you like to read (pool-side, in a hammock, on the patio…the places are endless), when you finish the book join us at our Summer Book Club on June 27th and August 8th from 7-8:30 pm to discuss and share your thoughts!

We have two amazing books to read this summer. The
first is a memoir called “All the Pretty Things: The Story of a Southern Girl Who Went Through Fire to Find Her Way Home.” by Edie Wadsworth. She tells how God brought her through a difficult young life, how He transformed her and gave her confidence that she never received from her family. It’s the story of a girl working through a complicated relationship with her father and how she chooses to love him. The book is available at booksellers and at nhc.click/prettythings.

The second book is a historical fiction mystery called “All That is Secret” by Patricia Raybon. This book has all the elements of a good mystery story, plus a courageous theological professor-turned-sleuth when her father is unexpectedly killed. This story will keep you guessing as well as take you into the lives of all the different characters in the story! The book is available at booksellers and at nhc.click/secret.
