What to Expect

Everything you need to know to plan your visit

Visiting a church can be overwhelming. We get it. Whether you’re a young or senior adult, single, or married with kids, you’ll feel encouraged by the authentic community we have at New Hope Church. You can visit as many times as you want without any obligations or pressure. And who knows—you just might decide to make New Hope your new church home!

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON A SUNDAY?

What do I wear?

You are welcome at New Hope just as you are. You will see jeans and t-shirts, dresses/coats and ties, and everything in between. We believe that it’s the attitude of your heart that matters to God, rather than your physical appearance.

Where do I park?

If you are a first-time visitor, we have parking lot attendants and greeters to help guide you to a great spot. Simply turn on your hazard lights when you enter the campus and the attendants will hook you up! Click here for a map of the parking lot.

What time do I need to arrive?

We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the service you are attending so you can park and find a seat. Leave a little more time if you need to check in kids into the Children’s Ministry. We have a special team of volunteers ready to show you around and help you get settled.

How long is the service?

Weekend services are identical, and each one is an hour in duration.

What if I have questions?

We want to talk with you and support you. You can talk with a pastor or caring volunteer who’d love to help you figure out your next step at New Hope and in your relationship with Christ.

For more information about New Hope, you can click here to email us and request information, and we will get back to you ASAP!

What about my kids?

What will my children do while I'm in the service?

Children are important to us! While you attend the service, the kids (those 9 months old through 5th grade) will be in programs designed just for them with caring teachers who want to show them Jesus’ love. You can pre-register your child(ren) by filling out the form here. This will save you a few moments when you visit.

What will my teenager do while I'm in the service?

Students in 6th through 12th grade are encouraged to join their families for the service and plan on attending Sunday nights at 6 p.m. for the student-specific programming.
