Spiritual disciplines are any habit or practice designed to help us make room to experience more of God in our everyday lives. Seems simple enough, and yet for many of us, pursuing spiritual disciplines results in fatigue, frustration, and feeling like a failure. The desire to experience more of God in our lives seems reserved only for the extra-spiritual people.
But no matter who you are or how long you’ve followed Jesus, God intends for you to experience him, his grace, and his power in ever increasing measure. And spiritual disciplines provide a means through which this can happen. In this study, we’ll unpack what it looks like to make room to experience more of God’s grace and transforming power in our lives.
