Grace is opposed to earning, but it is not opposed to effort. You cannot earn God’s grace, but once you have received it, you are called to give God your very best and work hard at accomplishing His will. Laziness leads to mediocrity, but diligent hands bring reward. A life of constant comfort and convenience leads to disappointment. Identify one hard thing you are going to work toward this summer and the daily inputs that will help you achieve it.
