Generosity Changes Everything

Throughout scripture we are reminded of the importance of giving back a portion of what God has blessed us with.

God doesn’t want something from you; He wants something for you. More than you could ask for or imagine. And we do, too!

We believe the top competitor for our devotion to Jesus is money. Giving allows us to demonstrate that He is more important to us than material things. Matthew 6:24

We believe you can’t outgive God, so when you’re trusting Him with your tithes and offerings, we know that He will bless the rest. Proverbs 3:9-10; Malachi 3:10-12

We think Christians should be the most generous people on earth to support worthy causes, and there is no organization with more potential to change the world than the local church! 2 Corinthians 9:6; Ephesians 3:10

A tithe—which just means “tenth”—is defined as the first 10% of a person’s income that is to be given back to the local church. Tithing is a principle that is taught throughout the entire Bible. When we tithe, we are expressing worship in a tangible way by putting God first in our lives. Bringing our tithes is an opportunity for us to give God our thanks, show God we trust Him, and fight against greed in our hearts…all while allowing us to be a part of the most important work in life that is spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ!

But let’s be honest… most of us work too hard for too little. So for many, the idea of tithing, bringing the first 10% of our income to the Church, seems overwhelming. The thing is, it doesn’t matter how much or how little we make, God promises to pour out blessings on us when we tithe.

We offer several giving methods at New Hope to make it easy for you. These easy methods allow you to give to the general fund of New Hope. All donations will be used where best needed to support and further our mission.

There are several options for giving to New Hope Church. Not only can you give financially, but we also accept non-cash gifts. While a financial gift is of the most immediate benefit, we also accept non-cash gifts.
