Never Too Far: Week 2

The One Who Stayed

(Luke 15:25-32)
The older brother did everything right. He stayed. He worked. He obeyed. And he was furious when grace showed up for someone who didn’t deserve it. His distance from the Father wasn’t measured in miles, it was measured in resentment. You can be in the Father’s house and still miss the Father’s heart. Religion will tell you to earn it. The Gospel says you already have it. Stop trying to prove your worth and start receiving the love that’s already yours. God’s love isn’t a paycheck. It’s a gift.
