Mini-golf and Cookies

Route 56: I need to hear from God.

Your 6th graders start the night with cookies and a mini-golf tournament this week. Then we’ll learn that listening to God helps us know Him better. We’ll play a game of Whisper Challenge, watch a video lesson about how we can hear God, participate in a small group discussion about what they learned, and do one day of the devotional together. To open up our night, we’ll play mini-golf and snack on cookies. Their task during the week is to read and complete week 1 of the devotional on listening to God entitled, ‘Hear.’

Takeover: Listening to God helps us know Him better.

During week two, one of our small group leaders, Stacie, will give the message to our 7th graders through graduated seniors about how listening to God helps us know Him better. Before the message, we will play some mini golf and snack on cookies. Come for our first mini-golf tournament; the winner will get a special prize!
